MEETING INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Holding 1 liter and allowing for more space because of its form, the Safar bag fits perfectly in any hand luggage trolley and offers perfect visibility while searching for your beauty products.
As a see-through bag our design is meeting international airport security regulations and therefore mainly accepted while traveling.
FAIR TRADE INDIAN CRAFTSMANSHIP
Each Safar bag is hand made in Jaipur (India) by the women of the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation (PDFK), a non-governmental organization to support unprivileged women.
From the traditional block printed fabrics to the tassel we use our aim is to have most parts hand made in house by the skilled women of PDKF. While introducing the world of Indian craftsmanship and unique design from the region we are making sure everything is produced under fair conditions.
The Safar bag offers a multi reusable alternative to the common single used plastic bags which are frequently used whilst traveling. By changing to Safar you are swaping to an alternative that is less wasteful and that can be used during your travels as well as in your day to day routine.
Safar is a reusable handcrafted alternative to regular 1-liter plastic bags, which are mandatory for any liquids carried on board a flight. The Safar bag can hold multiple 100ml liquid containers, and due to its design, offers more space than conventional single use plastic bags. It also meets international airport security regulations because it is transparent, reusable and made in the required size.
Our mission is to give travelers a simple and elegant substitute from single-use plastic bags, while introducing the world of Indian craftsmanship and unique design from the country, in particular Jaipur (Rajasthan).
We are working together with the women of the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation (PDKF), who produce each bag by hand. From the traditional block printed fabrics, which are made in house to the tassel finish, our aim is to have most parts made by the skilled women of PDKF.
